Dear Crocheter;
Mint Melody can also be used to hide a roll of bathroom tissue. Of the three dolls in this set, she will work up the quickest for that last minute gift. Any two shades of the same color that you have on hand will work fine. It will also be interesting with two different colors, such as white for the main color and light blue for the points. Materials needed
1 red-haired porcelain-look doll by Fibre-craft
3 oz Light Mint worsted-weight yarn
3 oz Mint worsted-weight yarn
1 oz White baby pompadour yarn
4 snaps – size 4/0
1 package of 10 white ribbon bows (8 needed)
5″ of white 4mm string pearl beads
1/2 sheet 7 mesh plastic canvas (bathroom tissue option)
Small amount of sewing thread
2 craft pearl-headed corsage pins (optional)
F and D crochet hook or size for gauge
Gauge:
With F hook and worsted weight yarn – 7 dc = 2″; 4 sc rows = 1″. With D hook and pompadour yarn – 6 sc = 1″.
