This project is a companion piece to Bunny Garden. We saw the Watercolours Tahiti thread in the store and both designed a project for it. Both are good for beginners.

The model was stitched on 10 ct white Heatherfield fabric. (11 ct aida may be substituted.)

"2" Watercolours Tahiti. Separate and use 1 strand. Cross each stitch as you go.
"-" DMC 989 Pearl Cotton #5.
"o" DMC 3801 Pearl Cotton #5
"+" DMC 743 Pearl Cotton #5
"*" DMC 741 Pearl Cotton #5
"/" DMC 825 Pearl Cotton #5
"$" DMC 310 Pearl Cotton #5

"%" I have graphed both the dog and the cat with the "%" Symbol, but each was done in a separate color. This way you can chose whichever colors you wish for your pets. In the model both were stitched horizontally with one strand of watercolours thread. The cat was completed with Cedar and the dog with Teak.
