Attach thread to inside of Dc row on side of pouch with sc. Ch 3, turn, sc in first sc. * ch 3, turn, sc in previous ch 3 loop, repeat from * until necklace is 26 to 30 inches long. Being careful not to twist the necklace, attach with sc to inside dc row on other side of pouch. Finish off.

For Fringe: Thread beading needle (or 26 or 28 size tapestry needle) with pearl cotton. Attach end to first sc on bottom edge. String 10 beads onto thread. Skip last bead and go back through the first nine beads. Bring needle through sc again. (First beaded fringe made). Slip needle through next sc and into 3rd sc. Make another 10 bead fringe.
